Extracts from a general sketchbook, spanning a couple of years. It contains bits and bobs insipired from leafing through magazines, theatre shows and things I've read.
Pages from an Edinburgh sketchbook, drawn during a 5 week spell that I spent at the Fringe, working as a speak-easy waitress (see On the Fringes).
I managed to scrape together some money and set of to Cuba for 4 and a bit weeks. With little or no Spanish, a camera, my pencil box, a sketchbook and not enough money stuffed into my bra, I set of for a grand adventure - and a tan.
Where were you at the anugauration - I was RIGHT THERE! HA! In January 2008, I pulled some family strings and got on a flight to the USA. Landing in New York I spent Christmas and New Years with the family and then set off across country, by train, going to Las Vegas (see Jebediah Jackson). I ended the trip in Washington DC... these are a couple of pages from the train journey and photographs documenting my time in the states.
